Why Did You Make Spicy Ranks?

It all started when Character AI added unbearable censorship to their site. I needed to find an uncensored alternative, but holy shit - I was completely overwhelmed by the options. Some sites were way too pricey, others didn't offer the features I wanted, and many had terrible chat quality. It was taking forever to test everything and find what actually worked.

I ended up testing 30 platforms before finding ones that clicked, but even then I got hooked on the testing process itself. I discovered the best platforms for voice, the best for images, the best for character creation - each site had its own strengths and weaknesses that weren't obvious from their marketing.

Then I looked at my bank statement and realized I'd blown thousands of dollars on subscriptions and token purchases just to find the good stuff. That's when it hit me - most people aren't going to go that far or spend that much, and that's totally fair.

The space was flooded with fake Reddit bots promoting garbage platforms, hidden token costs, poor quality AI, and constant system outages. I figured since I was already doing all this expensive testing anyway, might as well help others avoid the same mistakes.

So here we are - Spicy Ranks is my way of saving you time, money, and frustration by cutting through the BS to find exactly what you're looking for.

Are There Any Websites That Aren't On Your List?

Nope - I add all sites (except those that probably exist on the Deep Web).

I'm constantly hunting for new platforms through Reddit, Discord, word of mouth, search engines, newsletters, and other listing sites. Sometimes platforms reach out to me directly for reviews. I've got my finger on the pulse of this space, so when something new launches, I usually know about it pretty quickly.

I do filter out obvious scams and completely low-effort sites, but generally I try to add everything that exists as long as it meets basic criteria for effort and legitimacy. Even the mediocre platforms make it onto the list - sometimes warning people away from garbage is just as valuable as recommending the good stuff.

I stay current with new launches, so there's no backlog. If a platform exists and isn't a complete joke, it's probably already on here or will be within a few days of me discovering it.
