Affiliate Disclosure
Let's Talk About How This All Works
Look, I'm not going to dance around this or bury the important stuff in fine print. Spicy Ranks makes money through affiliate partnerships, and you deserve to know exactly how that works and why it doesn't mess with my rankings.
Here's the Deal
When you click on a link to a platform from my site and sign up or make a purchase, I might get a commission. That's pretty standard stuff for review sites, but here's where I do things differently than most of the other ranking sites out there.
Why My Rankings Actually Mean Something
Most ranking websites? They're basically just advertising dressed up as reviews. The highest bidder gets the top spot, and the "reviews" are written to justify whatever someone paid for. That's not how I roll.
Here's what makes Spicy Ranks different:
- I don't sell ranking positions - Period. A platform can't pay me to move up the list
- Commission rates don't influence where platforms land - Whether they pay me 10% or 50% (or nothing at all), it has zero impact on their ranking
- Merit is the only thing that matters - I actually use these platforms, test their features, and rank them based on quality
Where Your Clicks Actually Go
Every commission I earn gets pumped right back into the site. With new AI platforms launching literally every day, I need those earnings to:
- Subscribe to new platforms as they pop up so I can test them properly
- Maintain active accounts across different subscription tiers to keep my reviews accurate
- Actually spend time using these services instead of just writing fluff based on their marketing pages
- Fuel by crippling coffee addiction, 'nuff said
This isn't some side hustle - it's how I keep the lights on and make sure people get honest information about what's actually worth their money.
How I Actually Rank These Things
I don't pull rankings out of thin air. Every platform gets evaluated on:
- How well the damn thing actually works - AI quality, response times, reliability
- Features and what you get for your money - Are you getting ripped off or getting value?
- User experience - Is the interface intuitive or a confusing mess?
- Customer support - Do they actually help when things go wrong?
- Overall bang for your buck - Quality vs. price vs. what the competition offers
The Bottom Line
When you see something ranked highly on my site, it earned that spot. I've used it, tested it, and genuinely think it's good. A platform that pays me zero commission could easily take the #1 spot if it delivers the best experience.
Most review sites in this space are pay-to-play operations masquerading as honest reviews. I'm not interested in that game. My reputation depends on giving people reliable information, not shilling for whoever cuts the biggest check.
