Kindroid updates proactive messages; its help pages disagree on controls

Kindroid's October 17 announcement describes more contextual outreach. Its troubleshooting page adds practical limits—and exposes documentation differences worth checking before relying on the feature.

What Kindroid announced

Kindroid says requested contacts work best at least 20 minutes ahead, up to a week out. It also says unsolicited contact pauses after three unanswered attempts. [1]

The controls need a closer look

The announcement says a proactive directive shapes contact frequency. The troubleshooting page instead points to Reach out frequency in General settings and says directives shape content, not frequency. [1][2]

There is another mismatch: the announcement says unrequested live-chat selfies are off without Act on its own; troubleshooting allows about one daily. Both distinguish live-chat actions from away outreach. [1][2]

Spicy's take

Spicy's takeCheck the controls visible in your account before relying on this rollout. A scheduling promise is useful; conflicting instructions make it harder to know which setting actually governs interruptions. [1][2]
