Zeta says iOS downloads and App Store payments are unavailable
Zeta has acknowledged an interruption to iOS distribution and App Store payments. Its notice distinguishes that problem from access for people who already have the app.
Event date: Nov 7, 2026
What the notice confirms
In a Japanese-language notice dated November 7, Zeta says App Store downloads and in-app payments are unavailable. It also says App Store subscription renewals are affected, while subscriptions already purchased remain valid until expiry. [1]
The company says web payments remain available and it is working on restoration. The notice supplies neither a cause nor a return date. [1]
What users should take from this
Spicy's takeAn unavailable store listing is not enough evidence to declare an entire service shut down. Here, the company's own notice specifically describes continued access for existing installations and a web alternative. [1]
CompanionHunt's November 8 report independently describes missing store listings, but does not establish whether Apple or the developer initiated the disappearance. We have not tested sign-in, payments or reinstalls. [2]
Spicy's takeTreat the restoration plan as a company statement, rather than a deadline. Avoid assuming this interruption has the same cause as other companion apps' distribution problems. [1][2]
